emailed Lieberman about judicial nominees

I just fired off an email to our resident DINO Joe Lieberman. I informed him that my family has been supporting him for many years, and my grandfather is actually an acquaintance of his. My grandfather was mayor of Groton and chair of the Groton Democratic Council many years ago, but has remained a strong political force (for a constituent anyhow) both on the radio and through connections.
I told him I would be watching his votes on the nuclear option as well as any votes supporting GOP legislation or rules changes. I just wanted to let him know that I still support him, and i understand he may have been lending some support to the GOP and Pres. Bush because of his hopes of Groton being excluded from the BRAC list, but that I will no longer support him and break from family tradition if he supports the end of the filibuster or even tries to maneuver his way around to appeal to both sides. He needs to be firm on this issue and stick with party lines solidly.

I'm a little irked that I have to do that to a Democratic senator, but there it is.

I hope Senator Lieberman understands how most Democrats feel on this one.
