BYSIEWICZ OUT OF GOVERNORS RACE
The Hartford Courant is reporting the Susan Bysiewicz will not run for Governor. This is awful! I thought Susan had the best chance of beating Rell. If 2005 has Rell & Lieberman getting reelected I'm done with politics. Maybe we can get Howard Dean to move to Connecticut?

1. She wasn't very strong
and Rell has a very high approval rating.

I would love to see Dick Blumenthal run, but he will only do it as a sure thing. He'll probably run for AG again.

2. it will be an uphill battle for any Democrat
even Lieberman & Dodd would have trouble defeating Rell at this stage, and both of them have secure seats in the Senate. Maybe Jim Calhoun could run?
