Not quite dead yet!!

I'm writing from the beautiful Litchfield Hills. Thomaston to be exact! I finally got to hear Paul Vance speak to our Dem. Town Comm. last week. REAL nice guy, but I think I'm leaning more towards Murphy. Paul is not as well spoken, but we'll see. Up here we are working very hard to get rid of John Piscopo ! He's running for First Selectman and promises to give up his State seat in the House if he wins locally. We are trying to make sure he loses BOTH!! I guess you could say we are "working from the bottom up!" I think we have a chance against Nancy Johnson too. Many Repubs here are fed up with the Neocons in power, and want a change!! They have been asking for lawn signs to support the Dem Slate in town!!!:toast:

1. Getting rid of Nancy Johnson would be huge

I think we have a chance to get rid of at least 1 of Johnson, Shays or Simmons next year. While I'd love to get rid of all three, I'm also a realist.

the State Dems seem to be doing an awesome job getting the word out to the public in regard to her connections with Pharmaceutical BIG MONEY. I don't know about you, but her constituents have been getting numerous phone messages that connect her with Tom Delays laundered money!! Are you in her district? Have you heard anything along these lines?

I'm in Rob Simmons' district and have not gotten any phone calls about him at all.
