Lieberman-Dodd endorsements???
My Repuke sort of friend told me that both Lieberman and Dodd refused to endorse either Destefano or Malloy and are privately supporting Jodi "Rowland" Rell. Thinking he was giving me the typical Repuke B.S.,I went to the Destefano and Malloy website and seen a bunch of endorsements from state and federal leaders but No Joe, No Chris. Any thoughts?

1. This isn't unusual
They may be waiting to see what happens.

Sometimes they may not endorse either one until after the nomination.

2. nobody supported Curry in 2002
I don't know where Lieberman & Dodd stood, but no major Democrat in state really came out and campaigned hard for Bill Curry for governor in 2002... including leaders of the state house & senate.

3. Rumor has it that Lieberman refused to endorse Curry or any Dem
challenger to Rowland in exchange for Rowland not helping push a qualified Repuke contender against him in 2000. Giordano challenged Lieberman in 2000 but Rowland didn't like Giordano and Giordano lost. Thank Goddess he did since Giordano was later proved to be a child sex abuser.

Dodd's reluctance may have to do with the fact that Malloy is challenging DeStefano and is waiting for Malloy to either defeat DeStefano or drop out of the race. Other than that, I haven't heard any rumors about any Dodd deals with Rowland. Dodd did face a Repuke challenger in 2004 and blew him out. The only negative scuttlebutt I heard about Dodd was from my former DTC Chair, who has friends in State Central. She told me that State Central was privately pissed at Dodd for not using any of his $5 million war chest to help Sullivan against Simmons and in other races.

4. Well, I am most certainly supporting the Democratic candidate.
I will vote for no REPUBLICANS whatsoever.
