Lieberman to be on with Colin McEnroe 3/22/06

Yes, and Joey ain't going to like. Colin said the first thing he is going to ask Joey is "I am going to vote for Ned Lamont, can you give me a reason why I shouldn't?

Joe will be on sometime between 4:10 and 6:00. If I had to bet I would think he will be on between 4:35 and 5:00.

It should be interesting given Colin's article in the Hartford Courant Sunday:

"In the middle of last week, I started wondering if Joe Lieberman has kind of a death wish.

I'm a registered Democrat, and, like a lot of my species here in Connecticut, I don't know whom I'm going to vote for in August. If I had to vote tomorrow, I'd vote for Ned Lamont, but I'd leave the polling place shaking my head, wondering what the hell happened to Joe Lieberman.

That's what I mean about a death wish. Lieberman at times seems to be working hard to make it almost impossible to vote for him. Consider his remarks about the controversy here in the state over a bill that would force all hospitals to offer emergency contraceptive pills to rape victims. "

But, it sounded like he wasn't very tough on him when I was listening to the wrap-up on Colin's show.

3. Joe started by saying how hurt he was by Colin's article.

Joe just whined the whole time. I thought Colin was pretty tough on him. Joe claimed Colin took his speech out of context, he probably got it off a blog -- bloggers like to do that, according to Joe. Colin said it got the speech quotes from the NYT and Joe said that was just as bad.

I didn't get to hear Colin after 5:00, but I heard that he felt Joe didn't help his case any. When Colin asked him why he should vote for Joe rather than Ned, the only answer Joe had was because he had 17 years seniority and brings lots of pork into CT. Joe was very angry through most of the interview.

Paul Begala was on today, he is working for Courtney, and he said something Colin didn't agree with and Colin said he just couldn't have two fights in two days!

WTIC has pod casts, I don't know if the Joe interview will be there or not -- and I don't understand such things and Sam Seder was talking about it today.
