Ned is running. Colin asked him if now that Ned is running this means he will not be. Lowell said -- if Ned lost the primary he would still consider running against Joe. He feels it is important that people know where Joe stands and the only way that is going to happen is if he is challenged. It is not yet available on the WTIC Pod cast, but I bet it will be. I don't know how quickly they update it. It was a very good interview.

1. Thanks for this - I've read conflicting articles in the past.
I always read that it was Weicker who found and urged Lamont to run against LIEberman. Any truth to that?

6. No, Tom Swan and others persuaded Ned to run
Weicker may have been one but he was not the only one to urge Ned to run.

3. From what I understand
once they hold the primary, it will be too late to file as an Independent.

The last date for filing is the date of the primary.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
