http://www.nedlamont.com/page/invite/ctgwdvdDear Wordpix,
Three months ago, together, we began the kind of campaign DC power-brokers fear and grassroots Democrats recognize as the only way to reclaim our country for ordinary Americans. With the full weight of the politics-as-usual crowd pushing back, our effort has centered around building organization, two-way communication, citizen participation, and fresh outside-the-box thinking that best represents Ned Lamont's way of doing business.
That's why our campaign turned to renowned Producer/Director and progressive all-star Robert Greenwald (You might know him from his documentaries Outfoxed or Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices) to put together a short video introduction of Ned Lamont and our historic effort.

http://www.nedlamont.com/page/invite/ctgwdvdThe video simultaneously debuted last night at La Paloma in Hartford, Connecticut and on numerous local and national blogs including Atrios, MyDD, and Connecticut Blog. The piece introduces voters to Ned, contains interviews with many Connecticut voters, and information on the actions and positions of Senator Lieberman. Now we need your help to spread the word to your friends and family.

http://www.nedlamont.com/page/invite/ctgwdvdThis Friday, Connecticut's Democratic delegates will gather in Hartford to endorse a candidate in this year's primary. If Ned can manage to get fifteen percent of their vote, we will earn a place on the ballot. Otherwise our petition drive to collect the necessary 15,000 signatures is well underway and ahead of schedule. There's a movement afoot in Connecticut, and between now and August 8th, you can be proud of all the work you've done on behalf of Ned Lamont, not just against George Bush's favorite Democrat.
Sincerely,
Tom Swan
Campaign Manager
Ned Lamont for U.S. Senate
P.S. The campaign is in the final push of a fundraising drive to get Ned on the air this week. Your small-dollar contributions will help us keep up with the Washington, D.C. dollars that funded Joe's recent negative attack mailings. We need your help now!
