My LTTE on Lieberman/Hastert/Foley

Sent this to the Norwich Bulletin:

Nothing Partisan About Protecting Children

House Speaker Dennis Hastert did nothing to prevent fellow Republican Mark Foley from sexually preying on teens.

Now Senator Lieberman accuses the people on both sides of the aisle who are calling for Hastert's resignation of being partisan.

Doesn't the Conscience of the Senate know the difference between being partisan and protecting our children?
Or is he so eager to paint everyone but himself as partisan during this election season that he's putting politics before children's welfare?

I'm disgusted by Lieberman's hypocrisy. I'm voting for Ned Lamont.

Had a great time today at the ned/wes rally at UConn. Saw several CT internet giants. Talked to Spazeboy and Ctkeith. Ctkeith was especially encouraging about where he thinks the race is at this point. What an endearing, cuddly kind of guy he is!

Emboldened by my DU experience, I walked up to Mark Davis of WTNH and engaged him in conversation. He is even ickier in person than he appears in your living room. Also spoke with Shelly Sindland of Fox 61. Complimented her on her recent appearance on Colin's radio show and discussed her pregnancy. She is very nice and quite approachable.
