. . . CBS newsman Bob Schieffer will moderate the debate which will be broadcast live at 1 p.m. on WFSB Channel 3, and rebroadcast that evening at 7 p.m.
Lieberman, Lamont, Schlesinger and minor party candidates Ralph Ferrucci (Green Party) and Timothy Knibbs (Concerned Citizens Party) will meet in second debate at the Bushnell Center for Performing Arts Oct. 18. That debate will be taped and broadcast on WTIV NBC30 at 7 p.m. the following night, Oct. 19.
The final Senate debate will be held Oct. 23 at the Garde Arts Center in New London, and will feature only Lieberman, Lamont and Schlesinger. That debate will be broadcast live on WTNH Channel 8 at 8 p.m., with ABC political correspondent George Stephanopolis moderating.
