Looks like its not going to happen. Lawlor & McDonald say they don't have the votes. If not now when? Next year in an election year? I don't think so. In a State that we now hold a super majority I can't believe our Democrats lost their spine and won't support equal rights for all people. Guess what, I have never voted for a Repuke in my entire life but next year, I will vote for every Repuke running for state office. If Democrats are going to act like Repukes than give me the real deal! What a bunch of jerks!

Even if it had passed, our Repub governor would have vetoed it.

Even if the Repuke Governor vetoed it, we have enough votes to over turn her veto assuming Democrats would act like Democrats. I'm sorry but this was an important issue and I feel betrayed by my own party. My State Rep who is a good progressive said he would have supported it and I believe him but guys like my dopey Dino Democrat State Senator would have opposed it.
