BRIDGEPORT -- About 15 protesters gathered in front of the Bank of America building on Middle Street at noon Tuesday to call for reforms in the country's financial and political systems.
There were people holding signs with messages like "don't steal our future" and a guitarist sat and strummed tunes.
The event was an official MoveOn.org event, but many of the protesters tossed around the phrase "occupy Bridgeport," inferring that this protest was part of the larger Occupy Wall Street movement sweeping the nation.
MoveOn.org organizer Andrea Arroyo said she would like to organize an overnight occupy event in Bridgeport like the event in Hartford, but said she doubted if she could get enough support ...
