As the "Occupy Wall Street" protest continues in Manhattan, so does "Occupy Hartford," and Connecticut demonstrators have scored a big win.
The group met with Hartford officials on Tuesday after the city expressed concerns about the health and safety of protesters who have been camping in tents in Turning Point Park since last Friday.
Police originally ordered the protesters to remove their tents from the park near Farmington Avenue and Broad Street, saying they violated city codes.
