The Democrats are a majority in the House for the
first time in a long while. The Senate is Dem controlled and the Gov. is a Dem.

Del. is really going blue.

Now to get rid of Mike Castle! :woohoo:

1. I think the only way Castle will be gone is if he retires
And I'm a bit concerned that if Minner/Markell pick someone weak or tries this 'pick a person to hold the seat for Beau' trick that Castle might run for Senate - and he'll win in a landslide.

Mike Castle is like a favorite grandfather - Biden can win twice in the state with 60%+ of the votes and yet we still have Castle for representative. But being that he's pro-choice, pro-environment he'll stay around until he's ready to retire. Then that seat will go blue and we'll be totally blue.

I'd like to think of Castle as more purple than red.

2. Castle will be gone...
When he runs for Senate, and loses to Beau. Come 2010 it'll all be over for him. He'd be wise to stay in the House.
