DE Dems - How do you feel about the choice of Markell vs. Carney

for Governor now that all this budget stuff is coming up? I voted for Carney because I felt uncomfortable with the Markell business ties, and knowing both personally, I just liked Carney better. I just wondered how you all felt.

Someone (one of the comments in the NJ today) said something about consolidating school districts and cutting down on some of the top brass - that might not be bad even at elevated ed institutions. He says that his proposed 8% pay cut for state employees would be 'temporary', but I *REALLY* doubt that. At least people will still have jobs, but the increases in healthcare premiums and other benefits cuts have me worried. I'm a 'sometimes' state employee - depending on what project I'm working on, so I'm sure these changes will have some affect me.

Anyway, I wanted to get your take on it too. Like usual, most of the comments in the NJ were not worth reading this a.m.
