Should I Run For US Senate Against Carper?

My platform, "I want his health insurance."

That's it. No grand promises. It's all about me.

Having heard Sen. Grassley's "Go work for the federal government" line, it sounded like a good idea.

Every other decision I'll do by poll here on DU. I'm not interested in that policy stuff, I just want to get good health insurance.

I don't understand why Carper can't do what is right for the people - if he will never be booted out of office due to name recognition, why does he need the insurance companies?

Yet Delaware is small so it seems like it should be simpler to boot the big names out. How much money does one need for a race? One can practically canvas the entire state.
