Senate Backs Regulators on Energy Plan By H. JOSEF HEBERT, Associated Press Writer
15 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - The Senate agreed Wednesday to give federal regulators clear authority to override state objections to the siting of liquefied natural gas import facilities, rejecting a proposal that would have allowed governors to block a project because of public health or environmental concerns.

are you saying the force is/would be similar and if so, on what basis? Not meaning to grill you, it's just that I'm accumulating info for a Delaware group fighting against on on our river.

2. Of course they did
The Republicans controll the Senate, and Republicans love bloated, top-down bureaucracy, authoritarianism and big government, when it suits corporate interest.

Of course, if seven spineless Democrats wouldn't have voted for it, of course it would have been a tie. Notice the states from which these GOP-operatives-in-donkey-clothing hail:

4. I was just looking for this info. How do you find it so fast?
I couldn't even decide which bill number or amendment number to check out since there were so many listed as "energy legislation".

Thanks for posting!
