I've never been to Delaware

It's the only New England and East Coast state I haven't been to, and one of the few US states I haven't been to.

It was an erroneous usage of the term, I know.

I just don't know what else to call it, since it isn't southern, either. Maryland and Deleware sort of exist in a non-nomenclatured limbo.
