1. Being that Ch 13 is a Faux outlet ...

... did it seem like a reasonably impartial interview?

3. John Had To Play Somewhat Defensively The Whole Time But Stood Strong For Our Side!
He did well given it was basically 3 AGAINST one single payer/public option. Yep he did a nice job refuting the nonsense of medical savings accounts being the answer to our health care problems coming from the right wing Brain Surgeon!!! John Russell ROCKS!

Following Kathy Fountain, John Russell Nurse Practitioner and Neuro-Surgeon McKalip high tailed it over to WMNF to continue the debate for another 45 minutes there where John Russell REALLY GAVE HIS ASS A WHOOPIN! :)

4. John did well considering they gave more time to the other side
But he kicked butt when he went one-on-one with the neurosurgeon on WMNF 88.5FM...The neuro-guy started talking about Ayn Rand...sounded way off. John sounded informed and cohesive.

5. Here is the LINK to the Debate Between John Russell and David McKalip On Health Care Reform
John Russell is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and 2006-2008 Democratic Nominee in Florida's 5th Congressional District. John has been a firm advocate for a National Single Payor Health Care Plan for the past six years.

David McKalip, M.D. is a Neuro-Surgeon from St. Petersburg a strident opponent of proposed Health Reform that includes single payor or the public health option.

This is good. John really takes the Brain Surgeon to task and stands strong for the public option, Single Payer Plan ya know!!!
