10-Year-Old Boy, 26-Year-Old Woman Killed In Crash

Florida Highway Patrol said a 14-year-old driver is responsible for a crash that killed two in north Florida.

According to FHP, the Lake City teenager lost control of the car Sunday evening. The car struck a dirt embankment and a tree, then rolled over until it came to rest against another tree.

The FHP said a 10-year-old boy and a 26-year-old woman in the car died in the crash.

The driver and a third passenger, a 6-year-old boy, are hospitalized in critical condition.

The FHP said no one in the car was wearing a seat belt.

14. The trooper stopped the car driven by a 15 year old...

going 100 mph on the highway. The 20 year old licenced driver was asleep in the back seat.

I heard the story while I was waiting for my case to come up in NJ traffic court.

you can walk into walmart and buy a gun with an i.d., walk out ten minutes later and do whatever you want with it.

10. The age to get a Learner's permit in Florida is only 15.

Just pointing out that in some states he could be a licensed driver (or at least a driver with a learner's permit). The South was noted for decades for permitting 14 years old to drive, but most have increased the age to at least 15 years of age.

Alaska, Iowa, Idaho, Arkansas, Kansas, North Dakota and South Dakota, you can get a learner's permit at age 14.

Wyoming, and Montana set the age at 14 years, six months to get a Learner's permit.
Michigan sets the age at 14 years and eight months.

Alabama. Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia, issue permits at age 15.

Arizona, California, Hawaii, Indiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Virginia, and Wisconsin issue permits at age 15 years, six months.

Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Washington DC, and Connecticut grant permits at age 16.

and her 4 siblings around to extracurricular activities.

i wonder about teaching our young ones to drive..... millions have. i can do this. we have stayed in low traffic for a long time. this is a gotta do.
