Florida DEP Proposes to close 53 State Parks

This is terrible news. The last refuges of once-wild Florida is on the chopping block in an effort to cu $6.5 million from the state budget. If any DUers live near any of these parks, please show your support by paying a visit. It's your admission dollars that keep them running. Spread the word to your friends and family. Don't let them disappear.
