has had 1 to 2 hour long lines all week. We voted yesterday. I heard Fulton county is coming out big time. :)

1. I have had Georgia on my mind lately. I lived there

when Lester Maddox was governor. I hope it has changed.

I don't expect democrats will do too well. But I am hopeful.

3. Kerry signs everywhere in Lumpkin County...

Lumpkin County has a long history of voting Republican. But unlike some of the neighboring counties to the south, the two-party tradition in rural North Georgia appears to be helping Democrats and hurting Bush.

I have also noticed several Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers on pickups and cars in Dahlonega. The last Democrat to win Lumpkin county was Clinton in 1992!

4. Nothing but Bush/Cheney signs here

in Cherokee County. I must be the only one in this entire county with a Kerry/Edwards bumpersticker.
