Lines out the door in North Fulton

At 2pm, at the North Fulton government building on Roswell Road, the line to vote was out the door and down into the parking lot. Traffic was backed up on Roswell with cars waiting to make the right turn into the parking lot.

I think we DUers need to set our alarms an hour earlier than normal tomorrow - I have a feeling the lines at the polls are going to be VERY long.

1. I sure hope that those long lines are full of Democrats!

Advance voting was a huge success in Athens last week. Last week, there was a big color front page newspaper photo of all the people waiting in line at the downtown Board of Election office. There is in-person electronic absentee voting today. I will have to get up really early and get to my polling place by 6:30 am at the latest on Tuesday.

On edit: 1. Set alarm for very early in the morning.
2. Take a big cup of java along.

Hmm ... that's usually pretty-solidly Republican, but who knows? Conventional wisdom says that nobody stands in a long line to get more of the same. People who are willing to go through that want change, and they want it badly.

I'd be ecstatic if we could carry GA this time. GOTV folks! Will you be able t live with yourself if you don't?
