We must continue to push hard for passage of strong ethics reform in Georgia.

In order to make this happen, the new Republican leadership needs to hear from Georgians that it is not acceptable to go the ways of the old Democratic leadership. Let them know that we are expecting the New Day in Georgia they promised.

Help us press for passage of Governor Perdue's House Bill 48 - and the campaign finance reforms in Democratic Representative Mary Margaret Oliver's House Bill 47.

You can help us by contacting the new Speaker of the Georgia House, Glenn Richardson, by Friday and ask him to keep the provisions of HB 48 intact and add campaign finance reform measures. To insure that the Senate leadership gets the message as well, please contact Senate President Pro Tempore Eric Johnson this week and ask him to support ethics reform when it reaches the Senate.
