Happy 4th of July y'all!

It's the 4th of July. I was born in Georgia, I was raised in Georgia...but now I live in England.

Today is not a holiday here.

It's peeing down with rain. It's so damn cold today that we have the freakin' heat on in the house.

I miss my country, I miss my state (red place that it is...) and I miss my people there. Most of the time I'm fine in the UK, and I love it, but today more than any other time I miss America.

So, while y'all are enjoying the heat and the fireworks, take some time to think about how we're going to get our country back from the people who are trying to destroy it.

And eat some BBQ and drink some beer (or a couple margaritas with rocks and salt) for this homesick Georgia girl. Have a great day, everybody.

Hasn't rained all day until NOW as we were about to walk to the fireworks. We still have plenty of time since they don't start the things until nearly 10:00.
