Al Franken book signing tomorrow, December 1st

On Thursday, December 1 (A Cappella Books' 16th anniversary), you need to call in sick. AL FRANKEN, author of the NY Times #1 Bestseller THE TRUTH (WITH JOKES), and host of the national radio program "The Al Franken Show," will broadcast before a live audience at The Variety Playhouse in Little Five Points from noon to 3 p.m.

If you can't get away for the whole day Thursday, our friends at The Georgia Center for the Book join us in welcoming Mr. Franken to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library the night before, Wednesday, November 30, at 7 p.m. for a brief discussion and book signing. Mr. Franken will also be signing books at The Variety Playhouse on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. 'til 11 a.m.

Both events are FREE.

Seating will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Because of time restrictions, Mr. Franken can only sign copies of books purchased at the event.

If you cannot attend either but would like a signed copy, please email us or call, and we can reserve a copy for you.
