Atlanta Meetups Very active/Join US! |
|
There are several metro Atlanta and Georgia statewide groups for Kerry/Edwards that are very active. More more information go to these sites: www.kerrywingeorgia.org (sign up here to get info under "contact us") and, yahoo groups: Georgiaforkerry and highlands_for_kerry
Meetups are held on the fourth thursday of each month at 7pm.
Two of our meetup locations are:
Atlanta Diner (I-85 and Buford Highway/Druid Hills exit) Ashton's Restaurant (East Howard Avenue - downtown Decatur)
Come join us. We plan to make Kerry/Edwards very competitive in Georgia and to help in nearby "swing states" later this fall. We have many committees that you can work on or you can just come to the meetings to be around like minded people. Your level of involvement is up to you with no pressure applied.

Hi UnityDem. Did you by any chance work on the Dean campaign here in GA?

I came to a few Dean meetups. However, I was not really active in the campaign. Why do you ask? Did you work for Dean?

I did work for the campaign and you sort of sounded like someone I know from that campaign. I was just wondering if you were that person. Oh well...
There is a Democratic Party meetup tonight at Ashton's in Decatur. If you can make it, that would be great...
