21 GA Republican state senators call on Reed to quit race
With this kind of momentum against him, I don't think he'll make to to the primaries.

Twenty-one Republican state senators on Friday called for Ralph Reed to withdraw from the contest for lieutenant governor, declaring that his ties to Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff could jeopardize the re-election of Gov. Sonny Perdue and the rest of the GOP ticket.

"For the good of the Republican Party, for the good of Georgia, we encourage Ralph Reed to withdraw from this race," stated the petition signed by the senators, all of whom support Reed's GOP rival, state Sen. Casey Cagle of Gainesville.

Reed rejected the petition as a useless stunt, and expressed confidence that his record and ideas would prevail

Reed is a wonderful Republican tarbaby. Hopefully, he'll drag down Perdue and the Republican cabal.

I have a personal hatred for Caey Cagle. He is trying to split my majority Democratic community in half by redistricting our state senate district between two Republicans. Cagle doesn't even live in Athens and neither does my current Senator (he lives in an adjacent county with in the district). Kind of boggles the mind doesn't it?

2. His "record and ideas would prevail"?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA - I needed a good laugh today!

I hate that little weasel. I hope Reed does stay in the race, and that he has his ass handed to him, the kind of defeat that people will still talk about 30 years from now as the ultimate in political humiliation.

3. Just about every democrat in the state is hoping that he stays in the race
because he will drag the whole party down with him. Then I will do the Snoopy Happy Dance.

5. Hey RD!!!
How are you? Am I right in thinking you're expecting a baby Democrat?

Can someone post video of you doing the Snoopy Happy Dance?

A horse bolted with me yesterday (you know how it is when they see things like killer plastic shopping bags, caught on a bush and flapping in the wind), felt like 0-60 mph in about 3 seconds. I lost the reins, came flying off, slammed into some rocks hip first and cracked my pelvic bone (hairline fracture). Oh boy, do I hurt, it seems like pain is everywhere on my body.

Knowing Ralph Reed might inadvertently engineer the downfall of the GA Republican Party because he's too arrogant to drop out of the race makes me feel soooooo much better though!
