GA - Canine Fighting Bill, SB 229

The people behind this bill think it’s VERY important for us to find people in the home areas of Ralston (Blue Ridge, Elijay, Morgantown, Dawsonville and McCaysville) and Mumford (Conyers, Gwinnett, Newton Counties). Suggestion: Go online and find a real estate company in those areas, or other businesses. Ask the person answering the phone for the biggest animal lover in their office and briefly tell them we need their help with an important animal bill. AND, get their email and send them this info and ask them to PLEASE CONTACT ALL THEIR ANIMAL LOVING FRIENDS IN THE AREA AND URGE THEM TO CONTACT THEIR REP — RALSTON OR MUMFORD.

IMPORTANT!!!!! Do this today — NOW!!!! Will we let cockfighters and their influence win and let poor pit bulls continue to be bloodied in horrendous fights???????? This bill is better than the present bill because it allows anyone suspected of dog fighting to be arrested. Presently, a person just about has to be caught in the act.

The proposed Canine Fighting Bill, SB 229, will die if we don't get calls and /or emails into the chairman of the Judiciary Committe (non-civil) today! Call all your friends who live in the areas below!

The word FOWL has been taken out completely so the cockfighters and chicken farmers are not even in the bill. Yet they have muddied the waters, intimidated and coerced the GA Representatives not to bring this bill out of committee.

His constituents from the Blue Ridge, Elijay, Morgantown, Dawsonville and McCaysville area must call/email Rep. David Ralston today to bring this bill out of committee. He has the power to move it. They care about CONSTITUENTS. Call everyone you know who lives in these areas.
