GA Libertarian candidate blasts gay marriage politics

It's sad that a conservative like this guy gets it right while so many Dems do not.

Allen Buckley, Libertarian Candidate for Lieutenant Governor, has blasted the Republicans’ and Democrats’ rush to criticize the recent judicial decision that found that the gay marriage ban amendment to the State Constitution to be unconstitutional. Buckley, an attorney, said: “Georgia law, like federal law, defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman.” Thus, there is no risk that gays will marry in Georgia. A costly constitutional amendment is overkill. Buckley said: “I believe that virtually all gay persons are naturally gay. As a Christian, based on all that I have read and heard about Jesus Christ, I don’t believe that he would have been a gay basher or anything of the sort.”
