Carter Dean was born on Monday, the 5th, at 3:57pm. He weighed 8lbs and was 19 1/2" long. Easiest labor ever - I might be talked into doing this again :)

What a beautiful boy. It's good to know you're both doing so well.

Boys are so much fun (I have two). I love their "otherness". I'm an only child anyway, so raising sons has been a great adventure for me (and them too, I think).

He's named after The Man - Jimmy Carter because we love him and for Gov. Dean because the hubby and I met working on Dean's presidential campaign.
