1. It was wonderful! Athens, GA, downtown alive, DUers meeting up!

XanaDUer and her boy friend drove over from Gwinnett! They are so nice and they have a ginger cat and a little dog! They are DU pet people! We had a very nice late lunch and talked about politics and pets (and horses!)

Caspar and MG Krebs arrived after XanaDUer and her boyfriend left. Then Deb and Ammonium and Mr. CB arrived! We had a great time! We had a table overlooking Clayton Street! Downtown was hot and happening! The students are back and the first UGA homegame is only two weeks away!

I will post pics as soon as I can download them to the PC! I have to say that our GA DUers are so very nice and ultra cool! We all look forward to seeing y'all soon in Athens or Atlanta (but Athens is more fun!) ;)

We need to have a DU Athens Golf meet up because XanaDUer and Mr. CB play golf!

I had previously met MG Krebs and Caspar at our Atlanta meet ups. I met XanaDUer, her boyfriend, Debau2005 and Ammonium for first time here in Athens. I have to say that DUers are the nicest people! A good time was had by all. It was a beautiful day and downtown was alive with activity as the students return and the town gears up for the first UGA home football game of the season! We had a table overlooking the street and we had a great view of downtown. We even talked politics but we chatted about all sorts of other things too! XanaDUer, Deb and I are all horse lovers which is really neat!

I look forward to meeting with my DU friends in Atlanta this fall! We want to see little Mr. Carter Dean in person! Krebs suggested a post-election get together in November. Hopefully, we will be celebrating Democratic victories!
