Atlanta area meet-up request/suggestion

January 4th marks the day the the new Dem majority takes over. I would like to celebrate this hopeful event by toasting to it with our fellow Atlanta area DUers.

I would like to suggest January 5th, a friday, or January 6th.

Thoughts?

1. I would love to meet up. A Saturday is best for me but I could come on a Friday.

I really liked the Graveyard where we last met up in Atlanta. It was an easy drive from Athens because I didn't have to take GA 316 or I-85.

We missed seeing you and Catwoman in Athens this past summer. :hi:

The Second Annual Georgia Progressive Summit is January 4th-5th (Friday evening and Saturday all day) I'll be presenting 2 workshops on communications and messaging! Or, maybe we could plan to go out after Reverend Lowery's Call to Action at the end of the day Saturday?

I'm getting that a lot lately myself. Me and Mr. Rubyduby were invited to a New Year's Eve party and we said we'd be attending. I got a few emails back saying that they just couldn't wait to see the baby and oh yeah it would be nice to see us too. Ha!

I got there late due to some heavy rain when I was drivig on I-20. We hope to meet in Athens in the spring or summer. Maybe we'll see you then!
