Limbaugh boycott info...

I am so sick of Limbaugh's hate speech that I am trying to listen to the actual show myself so that I can find out who the advertisers are and alert them to my displeasure with their support for such disgusting behavior. I will periodically post here so others can participate without subjecting themselves to the gooey slime. I'll keep it up as long as I can.

Today, the only ads I heard were for
State Farm Insurance, and
UGA Terry School of Business.

Doesn't look like State Farm wants emails unless you are a customer, so the rest of us have to send snail mail:

Ms. Kling forwarded your concern to me and I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.

When purchasing advertising, we select radio stations who reach our target demographics. When we buy radio advertising, we are essentially buying time and are unable to affordably specify when.

Our target demographic enjoys talk/news radio and we take the risk of our ad running along side of programming we do not necessarily agree with or endorse.

Please know that we did not select to "sponsor" the Limbaugh program in particular, but did select the radio station that airs his program along with news and other talk radio series.

We endeavor to reach our market effectively and without offense. Thank you again for your concern and feedback.
