2. We had golf ball sized hail.
The worst of it hit next door in Walton County.

Ulysses - I saw your school on TV - was it hit? Ruby - I was thinking of you when the storms blew through Newton. We could see the black skies from our house (we're on the Newton Henry line), but nothing hit here.

5. looks like my old school was hit.
Just west of the Dome - the APS news release says broken windows, AC units and downed trees. Nothing too bad, though.

6. East Atlanta got hit hard
Tornado touched down around the corner from the Grave yard.
Lots of trees and powerlines down and some moderate damages to buildings.

8. All's well in Woodstock.
The sirens kept going off, though, for half the day, which kept me jumpy. My son lives in Dawsonville and his basement flooded.
