7. Zell Miller, born a turncoat....elected as a turncoat

Zell Miller claims he has voted for Democrats all his life. He claims he has always supported the Democratic nominee for President, at least until now.

Is Zell really being honest with us? Did Zell vote for L.B.J. in 1964, despite the fact that he embraced Zell's opponent Phil Landrum? Did Zell really vote for Humphrey in 1968..despite the fact that his boss, Lester Maddox, was a huge backer of George Wallace? Did Zell really support McGovern, despite the fact that Zell did his best to undermine the McGovern campaign in Georgia? Did Zell support Michael Dukakis in 1988 or Al Gore in 2000?

If we look closely at Zell Miller, and his political views over time..it becomes increasingly obvious that Zell Miller is the exact opposite of a yellow dog Democrat! The only thing Zell consistently votes for is himself.
