Obama Campaign has opened an office in Cumming Ga!

Ha! This is hilarious! Do you guys remember that story about Oprah going to Cumming Ga to do a show there because of its racial history? The townspeople threw rocks at her because she was black! haha. History has come full circle in cumming Ga!!

CUMMING, Ga. -- As Georgia Democrats prepare for their national convention next week, they are opening more local campaign offices for their presidential candidate, Sen. Barack Obama.

More than two decades ago, Forsyth County was a symbol of racial conflict. Now, it's home to a Georgia field office for an African American running for president.

"Isn't it incredible how far we've come?"asked Obama volunteer Jeff Jackness.

Jackness volunteers at the Obama office near Cumming. It is not easy work. On the walls are reminders of how completely Republican Forsyth County voted last time.

Obama's Forsyth County volunteers will keep calling local residents through Election Day. The most recent InsiderAdvantage poll showed McCain leading Obama by four percentage points in Georgia, with nine percent undecided
