Hey, yall Georgians, I visited your fair state this past weekend.

Went to Athens for first time, saw UGA and all those statues of bulldogs you have hanging around.

Also, do you say "Monti-sello" GA, or "Monti-CHello?" (I didn't make it there but its webpage makes it look so idyllic. Must be some good PR folks put that together.

1. Hello. Hope you had a great time in our fair state.
The locals pronounce it "mon-ta-sello". I live next door to Monticello in Covington. Next time you're here, give us some warning and we'll get the troops together to take you out. Especially since Cottonbear (an Athens DUer) has been trying to get us all to come to Athens all summer.

:)

3. HI! I wish I'd known that you were in town! We could've had a mini-meet up!
Athens is a great town. The Dawgs' opening football game is Saturday in Athens at 2 PM against Georgia Southern (Ruby's alma mater). We're going all the way to the national championship, baby!
The stadium seats over 90,000 people! It is awesome to be there at the game or to hear the crowd roaring from several miles away! (like I can at my house!)

6. Shhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! Don't tell everyone I went to Dead To Me University
I'll refresh everyone's memory of October 30, 2006 at the invitation of the school's president (who must be a total asshat) and the College Republicans (who we know are total chickenhawk asshats):

7. Poppy Bush dedicated the Coverdell building at UGA, but not as bad as the Chimp at Ga Southern.
I hope that the Board of Regents doesn't name any thing at UGA or Georgia Southern after Zell Miller. :(
