I am an attorney in Macon. There are plenty of lefties here. Most of us live downtown, however, and hide our true colors except when in the company of other, known sane persons.

If you live out in the forest (as opposed to in the city) the ratio of sane to insane drops dramatically.

i live in river north off arkwright road...any advice?..where do you lefties hang out downtown

4. The Hummingbird

It caters to an older, more sophisticated crowd than most bars. Of course, I have young children, so I don't really frequent bars.

Up your way, I find trivia at El Azteca on Tom Hill Sr. to be fun, but when I was frequenting that place during law school, I brought my own team.

River North is definitely in the forest.

5. We've been here three years (Gwinnett County)

Gwinnett is the red hellhole of hellholes. there are a few sane folks here, though.
