A poll from my local paper in Middle Georgia...

The question is "Do you believe carbon emissions from Plant Scherer (near Forsyth, GA.) make the planet warmer?"

The answers are:
1. Yes, and the EPA is right to restrict them.
2. No, human activity does not affect the earth's climate.
3. Don't know.

This is the kind of place I live in. I already e-mailed the paper's editor, who is a strange mix of Randian objectivist and evangelical Christian, but to no avail. He claimed the poll was fair in every way. Sometimes I wish I had the money to just up and move to a more civilized place.
