How is everyone in Georgia?
slightly wet, moderately wet, soaking wet, under water? We went to the local target to drop off some pics, and were soaking wet by the time we got home. Water was in most every yard, up to the road, and in most places, flooding the roads on the way home.

We are in Marietta between Canton and Trickem just south of 92.
Our little lake in back overflowed its banks and into our yard.. It has resided but we had ankle deep water in the basement, just finished cleaning it up. The Creek that that feeds it flooded Jamerson road. took me two hours to get home from work (ten miles). I'm Grateful it could have been worse.

How are you doing?

2. The road to my house was flooded and I couldn't get through.
All the other roads around were blocked, I couldn't get home from work Monday, so I had to spend the night in a motel. I live in Woodstock and there was a lot of flooding. I'm near 575, and that was flooded off Highway 92. Highway 92 was also a lake. Finally, I was able to get home Tuesday morning, by going a round about way, as the road was still flooded. I had to go 10 miles out of my way.

3. Fortunately, just fine
We live in town just north of Buckhead and aside from some decent sized branches in the yard, we're okay.

Had a friend tell me that his folks (who live in Cobb Co and whose house sits on the 'Hooch) had their basement flooded out and lost both of their cars (both cars were completely submerged and apparently ruined by the water and all of the silt/debris in the water). Lots of folks are hurting from the nature of the floods.
