Need help from North Georgia Duers

During the 08 Campaign while phone banking for President Obama, I met an 82 year young woman named Bernice. She had not voted since Clinton and needed a ride to the polls. My husband and I drove to North Ga, took her to vote than out for a very nice lunch. We have stayed in contact and visited her a few times since then. Bernice is a two time cancer survivor, she is also an amputee and wheel chair bound. I received a call from this sweet lady today, she has been having trouble with the disabled bus service in her area. The refuse to pick her up for doctors appointments and errands (grocery store etc.), they say she is too much trouble. This week they left her stranded at the clinic and it cost her thirty -five dollars to get home, She was ten minuets late for the three o'clock pick-up. The nurse at the clinic called the bus service to let them know that they were backed up at the clinic but would rush her ahead of other patients and have her at the stop by 3:15. When the bus had not arrived by 3:30 the nurse called and was informed they did not come because she was just too much trouble.

What I need help with is names and addresses of local city council for Chickamauga. or any official who can help Bernice. I will also be writing letters to her congressman, senators and Governor regarding this. It is a disgrace that our disabled elderly are left without transportation for daily living.

My husband and I will be driving up to see her on Wednesday. Any Help will be appreciated.
