Well, just got laid off from work a few hours ago

I will be hanging in Georgia for awhile longer, since this is the contact information on my CV, but I will probably be moving from Georgia in the near future, depending on where I get a new job.

So, goodbye to the DUers I was privileged to meet here in Georgia - esp RubyDuby. I wish I had been able to do more with the Democratic women's club, but I was not able to due to a huge project that was dumped on me.

Keep on fighting the good fight, and I hope you all can turn things around in Georgia.

It takes a lot of guts to be a Dem/Green/Progressive in Georgia.

Thanks very much. I know you got let go, too, and I hope you've found a satisfactory and satisfying new position. I am up for four jobs - none in GA. I really don't want to go back to South Fl, since it seems to have been taken over by the lunatic fringe on the Right.

I will drop you all a note and let you know how it's going. I was not the only one let go, and this is going to ricochet in this local community. Sad, so sad.
