Kristy's Cornwell's remains found

SNIP - Cornwell's identity was confirmed by the agency's forensic pathologist through dental records, GBI spokesman John Bankhead said Monday. She was last seen walking along Jones Creek Road near her home in Blairsville, roughly nine miles from where her remains were recovered.

The identity of her killer is still a mystery, though investigators have not ruled out James Scott Carringer as a possible suspect. Carringer, 42, shot and killed himself after a three-hour standoff with Atlanta police last April.
