Bobby (dangit Bobbeh) Franklin sends up a bill to end collective bargaining by public employees

http://www1.legis.ga.gov/legis/2011_12/fulltext/hb416.htm

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend Article 2 of Chapter 6 of Title 34 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to membership in labor organizations, so as to prohibit collective bargaining by public employees; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

I know he's pretty much getting ignored by the state legislature, but shit is about to get real. I'm sure there are others besides Dangit Bobbeh working on similar bills.

1. From what I can tell our public employee unions are very weak anyway....

My wife works in a school cafeteria, they are non-union and are really getting taken advantage of. It's pathetic how little they get paid.

She knows many teachers from her school, sounds like they're afraid to stand up for themselves as well.
