March 18th: Aniversary of Iraq war Anti-War March thru Waikiki!

NOT ONE MORE DEATH; NOT ONE MORE DOLLAR

March 18th, 2006:

Hundreds of Hawaii’s concern citizens will be marching through the streets of Waikiki in observance of Bush's illegal attack on Iraq 3 years ago.

As of today, March 9th, 2006, America has lost 2,306 of its sons and daughters to a War for …. Well, you tell me. I spent 12 months there and I still can’t figure out why!?!

2,306 American service men and women have perished as a result of this nightmare. 2,306 troops! Upwards of 25,000 to 30,000 (Some say) Iraqi civilians! and countless numbers of insurgents and foreign fighters!

For what?

This march through Waikiki will meet at The ZOO, Kuhio/Kapahulu, at 6PM.
The march will go up Kuhio, cross Lewers and back up Kalakaua to Kapiolani Park.
A trolley will be available.
This a permitted march.

Bring your commonality!

The Dharma_Bum will be in New Orleans for the 135 mile, Anti-war march from Mobile, Alabama to New Orleans, Louisiana (www.vetgulfmarch.org) so I won’t be there.
