Blundell told The Maui News he had been advised by his attorney, Howard Luke, not to discuss details of the incident until he had seen the police report on the case.
But he said the incident took place around 11:30 p.m. Thursday while he was walking in Honolulu.
"There was an incident that I have to tell you I'm very ashamed of, and it shouldn't have happened," he said. "I was walking, which I do a lot in Honolulu, and I encountered these two guys. There was some inappropriate touching, and that's what led to the sexual abuse charge."
