Are you as sick of looking at the bony, bespectacled face of evil (for those of you playing along at home, Linda Lingle, first repuke governor in forty freakin' years) during every single commercial break as I am?

I mean, c'mon, this is way beyond soft money: getting her mug out there with the saturation of a political campaign, under the guise of a public service announcement (i.e. not subject to any spending limits)? Not that breast cancer isn't a great cause, but it's odd that she seems to have only just discovered it in the midst of a political campaign season, don'tcha think?

and in fact, what's-her-face is considerably less evil than many of her mainland counterparts: Sonny "Confederate Flag-Waver" Perdue of GA or Tim "First Amendment Tax" Pawlenty of MN, for example.

That still doesn't mean I want to see her every time I turn on the tube, like Big Brother on the telescreens (and in fact I haven't seen the spot once since the election. Hmmm.) Besides, former TV journalist Dan Cooke actually did portray Lingle in drag at a Press Club dinner, to raucous applause...

taught to us by the Pubs....then they get all huffy when we use Hate too.

Hate is not good and should be avoided whenever possible. We cannot compete with the Pubs. They OWN HATE.
