Aloha,

Hearings are now scheduled for BOTH of our comprehensive public funding
of political campaign bills! If you have already prepared your
testimony for the House, you can easily go to our Web site @
http://www.cleanelectionshawaii.org
to get the Senate addressing
information and then send your same testimony in again to the Senate
using the transmission information also there on line. If you have not
prepared testimony for the Monday House hearing, there is still time
and please do this if you possibly can. We truly need more testimony
written and sent in for both. If we lose here, we lose.

We particularly urge you to attend the Monday House hearing (below) to
help demonstrate wider public support, and please feel free to also
join us for the Tuesday Senate hearing - although the Senate Ways &
Means Committee will not be accepting any verbal testimony. This is
"normal" procedure for this particular senate committee.

The hearing on our HB 1713, HD1 is on Monday, February 28, 2005 @ 2:30
pm in Capitol Conference Room 308. Again, please try to personally
attend this most-important hearing.

The hearing on our SB 1689, SD1 is on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 @ 9:30 am
in Capitol Conference Room 211
Again, written testimony ONLY needed for Senate but your physical
presence is both invited and encouraged.
