MoveOn to lead Katrina survivors' march on DC tomorrow 9/8

MoveOn has just issued a press release announcing a march on Washington tomorrow with survivors of Hurricane Katrina. A rally will be held at 1 pm on Pennsylvania Ave in front of the White House. Details below. Please spread the word and kick so everyone will know!

I'm especially glad to see this, since I sent MoveOn a suggestion a few days ago that they bring some Katrina survivors to DC. Never got a reply, so I don't know if my e-mail had anything to do with this...but it's great to see this activism!

On 9/11 survivors of Katrina will commit an act of NONVIOLENT Civil Disobedience by setting up camp on the Washington, DC Mall.

Bushville, DC will remain as long as it takes to get answers and change.

We will camp on Bush's doorstep and make him face us every day until he is driven from power.
