January 11th Meeting regarding the January 27th Demonstration- Please come!
DC STREET TEAM MEETING
THU JAN 11 at 7PM

HELP FLYER AND POSTER IN DC FOR JANUARY 27-29

Office of the Institute for Policy Studies
1112 16th St NW, Suite 600, Washington, DC 20009

With only weeks to go before our massive antiwar demonstration in Washington, it is essential that we get the word out on the streets of DC! We need people who are willing to hand out flyers, put up posters and engage as many people as possible in discussions about why we must end this war now! People will be coming to town from all across the country to demand that Congress take action -- let's bring out folks from every neighborhood of Washington.

If you would like to help, please attend our DC Street Team meeting. We will provide you with all the materials you will need to get the word out, coordinate strategies, locations, times and dates, and share some of what we have learned from previous outreach campaigns.

Special guest speakers will include Reverend Lennox Yearwood, the CEO and president of the Hip Hop Caucus and Hip Hop Caucus Institute in Washington, DC. He is also the National Director for the Gulf Coast Renewal Campaign, and Co-Director of Cities for Progress.
